Immigration MuseumImmigration Museum: This Museum is located on 400 Flinders street, Melbourne in the Old Customs House which depicts historical & modern immigration by using multimedia to tell the stories. Get to know Victoria's culturally rich & diverse communities. There is a public Art work featured with about 7000 names of migrants who have come to Victoria. There are also some temporary exhibitions as well. Opening hours: Opens 10am to 5pm. Entry: Adults $8, Concessions and Children free entry. Additional charges may apply for temporary exhibitions. How to get there: Walk down from Flinders Street Station, Take trams 48,70,75 & the free City Circle trams which run on Flinders Street or Tram 55 which runs on Queens Bridge street going on to Market Street. |
