The main Gallery is located at 180 St Kilda road, Melbourne although it has a small branch in the federation square as well. This is an art gallery & museum and is the largest public art gallery in Australia. One of the features of the gallery is a colorful stained glass ceiling and is considered to be the world’s largest suspended stained glass.

On Public Holidays, special opening hours apply or as advertised. Closed on Christmas Day and Good Friday.

Entry: Entry to the NGV is Free although there may be fees for some Special Exhibits. Tickets can be purchased on site.

How to get there: Walk down from Flinders street station over the Princes Bridge or Trams 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 16, 64, 67, 72 on Swanston Street.
