Phillip Island

Phillip Island
Phillip Island Road, Phillip Island.
Victoria.

This tourist attraction is on the southeast side of Melbourne and would probably be about 2 hours journey by road out of Melbourne. There are heaps of things to see, do and experience, but the best three things I found were -

A Maze’N Things,
1805 Phillip Island Road, Cowes.
Victoria. Ph: (03) 59522283
This place is amazing with intriguing mazes, puzzles, optical illusion and the tallest ever slide that I’ve seen with a straight drop down!! Apparently you can have your picture taken while coming down this slide. This is a great place & not to be missed if you are doing a Phillip Island tour. The kids will absolutely enjoy this place and adults will find it quite challenging. There’s a restaurant and a gift shop on site with intriguing and amazing things to buy, a must see for Kids & Adults.

Penguin Parade & the Nobbies,
Phillip Island Tourist road, Phillip Island.

This is located at the end of the Phillip Island road. It is a sanctuary for penguins, where you can see the penguins parade at dusk, the Australian Fur Seal and also where the boardwalks wind up and down the embankment giving the visitor an insight to the penguin colonies and vast stunning views over the blue-green ocean is breathtaking and the Nobbies which are two massive rock stacks which can be viewed from here.

If you ever wanted to see the Australian Koalas in their natural habitat, this is the place to visit; the kids would really have a fun time watching the sleepy koalas. Located between Newhaven & Cowes.
