Yarra Valley Region is located in the Eastern side of Melbourne; about two hours drive from the city. There are many State forests such as Toolangi state forest & Marysville state forest, beautiful views of the Yarra ranges, Kingslake National Park. At Healesville you can visit the Healesville wildlife sanctuary and have a picnic or if you’re a rose enthusiast visit to the rose farm on the corner of Healesville-Koo wee rup road & Albert road. Further up when driving through the Black Spur forest you will see some of the tallest eucalyptus trees and palm trees laced out along the roads.
