Yarra Valley Region is located in the Eastern side of Melbourne; about two hours drive from the city. There are lots of things to do & see in this area as well ranging from family activities to winery tours where you can sample some of the exquisite wines of Melbourne. There are many State forests such as Toolangi state forest & Marysville state forest, beautiful views of the Yarra ranges, Kingslake National Park. At Healesville you can visit the Healesville wildlife sanctuary and have a picnic or if you’re a rose enthusiast visit to the rose farm on the corner of Healesville-Koo wee rup road & Albert road. Further up when driving through the Black Spur forest you will see some of the tallest eucalyptus trees and palm trees laced out along the roads. At Marysville walk down to the tallest waterfalls in Victoria, the Stevenson’s waterfalls.

How to get there: By car from Melbourne on the Eastern Freeway (83) then on to Eastlink, then on to Ringwood bypass and on to Maroondah Highway and further on.
